Animal ABC is a Scots alphabet book which introduces bairns to simple Scots words through alliterative phrases, including birlin bears wi big bahoochies, drookit draigon in a dub, and feart flamingoes in a fankle.

Animal ABC was the first book I published in Scots, as part of the launch of Itchy Coo Books in 2002. This new edition has the same text and features the same wonderful illustrations by Karen Sutherland.
